2 SIMPLE steps

1. Everyone parking in LOT 4 needs an active parking session. Confirm your active session by scanning the Metropolis QR code in the lot or clicking here
(You will be asked to add your phone number, license plate, and payment method to sign up. But you will not be charged if you follow the next procedure.)

2. Once you confirm an active session, scan the Detroit Church validation code or click here.  (The DC validation code will not work without an active session.) 

Note: Once you drive out of the lot, you should receive a text confirming the end of your session. If you do not receive a text, your session is still active. Please note the time you left and contact Dornell Mister, the local Metropolis representative, at dmister@metropolis.io, and cc info@detroitchurch.com to ensure the session ends and additional charges are not incurred.

 

Parking faq’s

1. What times am I eligible for validated parking?
Validated parking is available from 9 AM to 1 PM.

2. Can I wait until the end of service to use the QR code?
Yes, you can, but the best practice is to scan the QR code when you arrive. Waiting until the end of service increases the chance of forgetting to validate your parking.

3. Do I need to enter my credit card information? If so, will I be charged
Yes, you must enter your credit card information. However, you will only be charged if you forget to validate your parking. If you are charged, we are happy to reimburse you.

4. What happens if I forget to validate my parking?
If you forget to validate, you may receive a parking violation in the mail, or your card on file may be charged. If your card is charged, please notify us immediately at info@detroitchurch.com so we can assist. Unfortunately, if you receive a parking violation, we won’t be able to help at that point.

5. Who do I contact if I get a bill in the mail?
Hopefully, this won’t happen, but if it does, please email Dornell Mister, the local Metropolis representative, at dmister@metropolis.io.

6. Can I use the validation if I previously parked in a Metropolis lot and my credit card information is saved?
Yes, you can!

7. Can I remain in the lot after the validation time and still receive a discounted rate?
Yes, you can remain in the lot, but you will be charged a separate fee. Sundays already offer discounted parking rates.

ADDITIONAL BUILDING USAGE

1. When do we need to exit the building after service ends?
There isn’t a set time for exiting the building, but please keep in mind that the New Center One building is generally closed to the public on Sundays.

2. How long will we have access to the restroom keys after service?
An extra set of restroom keys will always be available behind the welcome desk.
