2019 Creative Prayer Room // Jan 25-27

WHAT IS CREATIVE PRAYER?

We know that God will show up anywhere He is welcome.  He certainly doesn't need a special place to be able to speak, but sometimes WE need a sacred space to be focused and listen, to truly be with Jesus.  From 6pm on Friday, January 25th to 11am on January 27th we rented a fully furnished apartment in Eastern Market that we will fill with a dozen interactive stations for you to engage with Father, Son, & Spirit in fresh, creative ways.  Hour by hour, we will take turns giving Heaven our attention.  Painted prayers, poems of gratitude, scrawled questions, doodled dreams, songs of longing, painted sorrows and joys will fill up the house as we make space to fulfill Jesus’s desire, “that they would be with Me where I am.”

Never prayed for a whole hour before?  Think you are probably bad at prayer?  Imagine prayer is boring? THIS SPACE IS FOR YOU!  The most common story told by people who experience an hour in a round-the-clock creative prayer space is that the time absolutely flew by!

A prayer room host will be on-site to let you into the apartment and answer any questions you may have.  The prayer room location is 2126 Pierce St, Detroit, MI 48207.
