Daily Reflection Prompts
As you spend time meditating and responding to these prompts, each day, sit with the Lord for 2–5 minutes before writing or praying. Resist the urge to answer immediately. Simply remain with Him.
DAY 1 - Monday - Be Still
Theme: Creating Space for God
Morning Reflection
Where am I relying on my own strength today instead of resting in God's presence? What would it look like to practice dependence—not just in my prayers, but in the way I approach my work, relationships, and responsibilities today?
Evening Reflection
As I look back on today, where did I notice the temptation to hurry, control, or strive? Where did God invite me to trust Him instead? How might His invitation to "be still" shape tomorrow?
DAY 2 - Tuesday - Look Within
Theme: Self-Examination & Repentance
Morning Reflection
If I became quiet enough to hear the thoughts that most often fill my mind, what would they reveal about where I place my trust? Invite the Holy Spirit to search your heart. Is there a belief, fear, wound, pride, or habit that God is gently bringing into the light today?
Evening Reflection
As God has revealed areas of my heart today, how will I respond? What would repentance look like—not simply feeling sorrow, but turning toward the Father's grace with humility, honesty, and hope?
DAY 3 - Wednesday - Listen Closely
Theme: Hearing God's Voice
Morning Reflection
What voices most often compete for my attention? As I sit at Jesus' feet today, what distractions do I need to lay aside so I can become more attentive to His Word, His Spirit, and His presence?
Evening Reflection
Where did I sense God's voice or gentle leading today? How is He inviting me to respond—not merely with understanding, but with trust, reverence, and obedience?
DAY 4 - Thursday - Remain Deeply
Theme: Remaining in Christ
Morning Reflection
If accomplishing less but remaining deeply with Jesus became my highest priority today, what would change? How can I choose presence with Christ over the pressure to prove myself?
Evening Reflection
Looking back on today, when did I feel tempted to measure my worth by what I accomplished? How did Jesus invite me instead to simply remain in His love? What fruit of His presence did I notice growing in me?
DAY 5 - Friday - Walk Forward
Theme: Obedience & Mission
Morning Reflection
As this season of silence comes to a close, what has God been forming in me? Is there one invitation, one act of obedience, or one step of faith that He is asking me to carry into everyday life?
Evening Reflection
Like Isaiah, I have encountered the holiness and grace of God. Like James reminds us, hearing must become doing. As I leave this fast, what will I continue to practice so that this week becomes the beginning of a deeper life with Christ rather than simply a meaningful experience?
